They also won on the road at Maryland this season. In the Blue Raiders road win at North Texas they stormed out to a 30-7 lead at half time. Middle Tennessee St returned 10 starters on offense in the 2009 season. Junior quarterback Dwight Dasher is completing on 55% of his passes this season with 7 touchdowns and 5 interceptions. The Blue Raiders benefited from 5 North Texas turnovers in their Sun Belt opener and won despite hitting on only 5 of 18 on third downs. Quarterback Dwight Dasher is a dual threat quarterback. He gained 75 yards on 16 carries last week. Middle Tennessee St allowed 470 yards against North Texas with 313 coming through the air. In their meeting last year at Middle Tennessee St. it was the Troy Trojans beating Middle Tennessee St 31-17 as a 6-point favorite.
