Tonight we will be giving our members the winner of the Arizona Cardinals and San Francisco 49ers.  Las Vegas sportsbooks list the Cardinals as 3.5-point road favorites with a total of 45.

The NFC West race seems to be back in the hands of the Arizona Cardinals, but the 49ers are starting to hit a stride.  The 49ers have lost six games by less than a touchdown this season and they are still fighting.

Arizona is 8-4 this year after their Super Bowl loss. What’s interesting is that the majority of the Cardinals’ wins have been on the road, winning five of six games away from Glendale. Their only road defeat was at Tennessee, 20-17 in Week 12 and Kurt Warner was on the bench.  Arizona allowed a 99-yard touchdown drive ending the Cards’ five-game road winning streak.

San Francisco enters tonight’s game at 5-7 SU and 7-3-2 against the spread. The 49ers are a solid 4-2 SU and against the spread at Candlestick Park. In their four (4) home victories, the Niners have allowed ten points or less. In their  two home losses, the Niners have given up 45 points to the Falcons and 34 to the Titans.

The Cardinals crushed the Vikings, 30-17 in their last outing. Warner threw for 250 yards and three (3) touchdowns on a solid Minnesota defense and Adrian Peterson was held to just 19 yards on 13 carries against the 12th-ranked rushing defense in the league.

In their first meeting, the Cards fell to the Niners, 20-16, at University of Phoenix Stadium, cashing as 5 ½-point road ‘dogs. The Niners’ defense held the Cardinals to only 1 TD touchdown.
