The Eagles defense stopped the run and held the Steelers offense to just 33 rushing yards.  When Pittsburgh decided to start passing the ball, the offensive line couldn’t protect Ben Roethlisberger.  Ben was sacked 8 times and left the game with a bum hand.  He’s listed as probable for tonight’s game, but won’t be getting much relief from the Ravens D.  Ben will definately be feeling some pressure.  With Parker out of the lineup, rookie RB Rashard Mendenhall will get the start.  He has carried the ball 10 times for just 28 yards, but the rookie seems to be prone to fumbling the ball.

Rookie WR DeSean Jackson had 6 catches for 106 yards against the Rams, then had 6 more catches for 110 yards against Dallas.  Jackson could have had a touchdown if he hadn’t acted like such a punk and dropped the ball at the 1 yard line during a premature end-zone celebration.  Dude…  Despite the rookie mistake, McNabb feels confident that he has a new weapon in DeSean.
